Sheffield Steelers' excellent run in the Champions Hockey League sees them going into Sunday's clash with Skellefteå AIK looking to make it a three-game win streak in Europe's top domestic club competition.

After an OT win in Växjö, Aaron Fox's team came home to thrash Sparta Prague 5-1 in front of almost 9,000 fans at the Utilita Arena on Friday night.

Sunday's game sees them go up a level in opposition. Skellefteå reached the final of the CHL last season, losing to Geneva in the one-off game.

Both teams have a 2-1 record though three games, with the Swedes beating Lahti Pelicans 4-2 in their previous outing. Prior, they were 4-3 winners in Salzburg and lost in a shootout in Straubing. Of note is that Skellefteå, who have never failed to make it into the CHL's knock-out rounds, have scored first in every game os far this season.
