BAUN KEEN TO BUILD ON GIANTS’ UNBEATEN START

Belfast Giants forward Kyle Baun says he’s keen to keep the good start going when his team host two Scottish sides this weekend.

Adam Keefe’s side begin their weekend with a visit by Dundee Stars tonight (Friday) then Glasgow Clan on Saturday as they continue their defence of the Challenge Cup.

And Baun, who scored twice in last week’s 4-2 win at the Stars, wants to give the fans something to enjoy as well.

“It’ll be another good challenge against these two teams and we come up against Dundee in our first home game of the year so we’re going to come out hard,” the 26-year-old told ‘A View from the Bridge’.

“It was good to build some confidence in both games last week and it’s tough going on the road there, but definitely nice to get off to a hot start.

“We want to give the fans a good show too, but there’s a lot of new teams for me and for our team to see what Glasgow are going to look like.

“Hopefully we can build off what we did last week and there are some things we want to clean up with.

“As for me, I haven’t really thought about personal targets this year, but I definitely want to be more of an offensive threat than I have been in the last couple of years and I think that’s realistic.”
