Milton Keynes Lightning Head Coach Doug McKay left his position today citing personal reasons. The team sit last in the table with eight points from 16 games.

A club statement read: “Milton Keynes Lightning announce today that Head Coach Doug McKay will be leaving his role for personal reasons. Lewis Clifford of the MK Thunder NIHL, who stood in for Doug until his arrival in the country earlier this season, will take on the role of interim Bench Coach for tonight’s game, while players Tim Wallace and Ryan Lannon will take on coaching duties.”

The Lightning face Glasgow Clan tonight live on FreeSports, hoping to end a winless run of seven games stretching back to 21 October.
