Dundee Stars forward Jordan Cownie is the winner of November’s ‘Player of the Month’ online voting after 2984 votes were cast.

The 23-year old home town boy helped his side to end their losing streak with two goals as the Stars recorded back-to-back wins over Fife Flyers. He also has another goal and assist over the month, and has been in decent form since too – another pair of assists as the Stars are now unbeaten in five straight games.

Cownie is playing in only his second full season in the Elite League, Last season he recorded 24 points in 50 league games, this year he’s just over halfway to repeating that total with 13 in 23.

The final totals were as follows:

38.38% Jordan Cownie (Dundee Stars)
29.58% Tyler Beskorowany (Belfast Giants)
23.87% Matt Beca (Glasgow Clan)
08.17% Blair Riley (Belfast Giants)

He joins Gleason Fournier and Shane Owen as Players of the Months, the pair being chosen by fans for October and September respectively.
