Week 24 of 30 in the 2018/19 Elite Ice Hockey League season brings us more of the good stuff!
On Tuesday night Glasgow host Dundee in a repeat of their Scottish derby from Sunday – that game went to overtime, so expect another thriller midweek. Then on Thursday we conclude the Challenge Cup Semi-Finals. The Clan take a one-goal lead to Belfast in a game which will be shown live on FreeSports! Meanwhile in the other Semi-Final, Guildford Flames head up to face the Nottingham Panthers with a three-goal aggregate lead.
If that wasn’t enough we’re back to league action at the weekend with a full schedule of games. On Saturday the Clan continue their busy week by travelling across to Belfast to face the Giants again – but this time for league points. Leaders Cardiff host basement side MK who took an OT win at the Viola Arena earlier this season, while Manchester and Guildford meet at the Storm Shelter. Panthers & Steelers renew their rivalry with Nottingham desperate to get one over on their old foes after a string of losses, while north of the border Fife host Coventry.
On Sunday night By Sunday night the Clan and Giants will have met three times this week as they then do battle in Glasow, while over in Dundee it’s a Scottish derby as the Stars host Fife Flyers. Coventry and Sheffield meet at the SkyDome for the second consecutive Sunday, while MK and Cardiff play the reverse fixture in Milton Keynes. It’s also a reverse matchup for Guildford and Manchester, who head down to Surrey for the 6pm Sunday start.
