The first final of this 2018/19 season is in the books, but now we move on to Week 28 a focus firmly back on to the race for the league title and playoff places.
Again the hockey weekend starts on Friday night with two games – Belfast begin and home and home series against Coventry, while in Glasgow it’s a Scottish derby between the Clan and Dundee.
It’s a full schedule on Saturday night, with the action starting in Surrey where the Stars are then the guests of Guildford. The Giants and Blaze do it all again 24 hours later, while Fife go in search of points in Milton Keynes. Nottingham host Manchester in a game important for both sides’ post-season aspirations; while at the FlyDSA Arena Cardiff will hope to avoid Belfast’s fate from two weeks ago when then visit the Steelers.
Then on Sunday Dundee complete their road week in Nottingham, Coventry try to get on a home winning streak when they host Fife, Manchester welcome MK to the Storm Shelter and finally Cardiff look to keep ahead of Belfast with a tricky home game against Glasgow.
