Belfast Giants’ Adam Keefe is shortlisted for the Alliance of European Hockey Clubs Coach of the Year award!

The Giants’ Head Coach led his team this season to retaining their Challenge Cup title, winning their first Regular Season title since 2014, and to the Playoff final where they narrowly lost out on the trophy.

Keefe, who is also Assistant Coach for the Great Britain team playing in the top flight of world ice hockey for the first time since 1994, is up against:

Pavel Gross (Mannheim, DEL) – First season in Mannheim turned an underachieving team into DEL + playoff winners
Kari Jalonen (Bern, NLA) – Second title in three years
Antti Pennanen (HPK, Liiga) – Won the Finnish title with low-budget team and players rejected by other clubs
Roger Rönnberg (Frölunda, SHL) – SHL & CHL Champion coach
