Glasgow Clan have brought Swede Mikael Lidhammar back into the league as they add him to their roster for 2019-20.
The 31-year-old winger spent last season with Romanian-based Brasov in the Hungarian top flight, where he hit 49 points in 51 regular season games. Lidhammar spent three seasons in the Elite League prior to heading to Brasov, putting up 39 and 35 points for Dundee stars over two seasons respectively, and then notched 18 for Guildford in their debut EIHL season.
“Mikael is a versatile winger who plays hard all game, He comes with a lot of EIHL experience, where he has put up good points. He is gritty and skilled, but most importantly always comes with a hard-work ethic,” confirmed Head Coach Zach Fitzgerald. “He is difficult to play against and anchors down our left side. We are over the moon to have signed Mikael to the Clan for this upcoming season,”
