37-year-old forward Jared Aulin is Ryan Finnerty’s latest addition to his Manchester Storm squad.
Coming form last season split between Rapperswil-Jona in the NLA (19 games, 4 points), and Straubing Tigers in the DEL (19 games, 10 points), Aulin has a wealth of experience both in Europe and across the pond. On this side of the Atlantic, he’s played 107 SHL games (62 points), 170 NLA (176 points), and 147 Allsvenskan (145 points). Before arriving in Europe, the forward played 271 games in the AHL (172 points), and had 17 games in the show itself, scoring two goals and assisting on a pair of others.
“We are really excited to add a player of Aulin’s experience to our lineup,” said Head Coach Finnerty. “He’s capable of playing in the middle or wing, and gives our young team a veteran presence that I feel like we needed. Adding Ulmer and Aulin changes our dynamic for the better and we are fortunate to have them here in Manchester. After losing Lundvald we had to act quickly”
