Olden adds wealth of experience to Steelers

Experience Norwegian forward Sondre Olden has been confirmed as the Sheffield Steelers next import signing for the 2021 Elite Series.
The 28-year-old joins Sheffield from Vålerenga in Norway, where the season was ended prematurely last week due to the Coronavirus situation in the country.
Prior to heading back to his homeland, Olden spent three seasons playing in the then EBEL with spells in Zagreb and Vienna. He totalled 159 points in 154 games 164 games and notched 2+3 in one CHL campaign with the Capitals. Prior to that, the forward spent three seasons in the SHL.
Olden has over 80 caps for the Norwegian national team, and also represented his country at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
