Forward Christophe Boivin is the Nottingham Panthers' seventh overseas addition for the 2021 Elite Series.
Coming to the UK from the University of Québec-Trois-Rivières in the USports League, the 25-year-old was 8+10 in 16 regular-season games in 2019/20. Prior to playing college hockey, Boivin spent four seasons in the QMJHL with Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
Said director of hockey, Gui Doucet: "Christophe has had a lot of success at USports level, and has been waiting for something to come his way after all of the disruptions to hockey this season."
"He's a natural athlete and has stayed in good shape. On the ice, he's a very fast, offensive player and has proved that by being a point per game at different levels. We were looking for someone to play on the left-wing, and when Christophe said he was interested I was super happy."
