Preparations begin in Nottingham
Work underway to prepare the arena
Preparations for the 2021 Elite Series have begun today in Nottingham, ahead of the arrival of players and inductions to Covid-19 protocol on Monday.
The arena, which has been mainly closed since the start of the pandemic, will host every game in the Elite Series.
Today work begins to prepare the arena behind the scenes. Special signage is being installed to ensure separation and segregation of players, that masks are worn at all times inside the building, and to control access to different zones within the arena.
Special 2021 Elite Series pucks also arrived from the official IIHF supplier in the Czech Republic for use in the games which start on Saturday.
