Fox looking forward to full practice today

Aaron Fox had players on the ice wearing orange for the first time in over a year on Monday, and is now looking forward to getting on with preparing his side for their opening game on Saturday.

"I thought yesterday went well, it was really good to get back out there," said the Steelers Head Coach after an initial skate on Monday. "We didn’t have our full team as two imports got in last night, and most of the Brits who played on the weekend also didn’t skate, so today will be our first official full practice day."

He continued: "I think with only a few days of practice my hope is to get guys as comfortable with our systems as possible without forcing them to do too much thinking. Also, getting the guys who haven’t played in a while into game shape may take a week or two.

"All in all thought it was a good start and looking forward to today."
