Update on Lee Young

Linesman Lee Young was injured during Thursday night's game between Manchester and Coventry, and taken straight to hospital from the Motorpoint Arena.

He suffered a broken ankle and fibula, and remains in hospital recovering. "I would like to thank all of the teams, officials, coaches and players who have sent me messages wishing me a speedy recovery," said Lee this afternoon. "And of course, a huge thanks to the team physios and on-duty medical staff who treated me at the rink, and those at the hospital, for looking after me.

"While I'm unable to respond to every message, I'm grateful for everyone's support and I look forward to seeing you all next season."

Everyone connected with the Elite League wishes Lee all the best and a speedy recovery.
