33-year-old 6"3 forward Jeremy Welsh is the latest addition to the Nottingham Panthers' line-up for season 2021/22.
The Canadian played 27 games in the NHL across spells in Carolina, Vancouver and St. Louis before heading to Europe and joining Fischtown, then newly of the DEL. He went on to play 164 games in Germany's top flight for the Penguins, Düsseldorf and Wolfsburg combined, and spent last season in Krakow - putting up 12 points in 17 playoff games as Cracovia finished runners-up.
"Jeremy is someone we've been in discussions with for more than a year, and he's very excited to be coming to the Panthers and also attending Loughborough University," said Director of Hockey Gui Doucet.
"He is a guy with a lot of experience, is still hungry to play, and is coming to us for the right reasons. It was important for us to get some experience up front, and Jeremy is someone who's played in good leagues. I think he will fit in exactly into what Tim and I are trying to build."
