100 days until planned season start

Pre-season starting to take shape

Today, 17 June, marks 100 days until the Elite Ice Hockey League's planned start date for season 2021/22!

Just over a month ago, the Elite League's teams agreed on key dates for the new season, with EIHL action currently planned to resume on the weekend of 25 and 26 September 2021. 

More recently, teams have been announcing their pre-season preparations. Cardiff and Nottingham will face each other on the 11 (Ice Arena Wales) and 12 (Motorpoint Arena) September for the Diamond Jubilee Cup. The Panthers will face the Sheffield Steelers in Nottingham on 18 September in Nottingham, before the Steelers host them a day later in Yorkshire.
