28-year-old Canadian forward Ian McNulty is joining the Guildford Flames for 2021/22.
The 6'0" skater has spent the past three seasons in the ECHL totalling 34 goals and 45 assists in 185 games. Before turning professional, McNulty spent four full seasons at the University of Regina, and finished his time in USports with 67 points from 119 starts.
"Ian has a good history of being a very productive offensive guy and we think he will be a really good fit with the kind of game we play in terms of trying to get the most of his offensive skill set," explained Head Coach Paul Dixon. "He wants to be a big part of contributing to his team’s success and certainly he will be in a spot to play a central role with us as we move forward, and we are looking forward to seeing him do that.
"He comes in here already knowing some of the guys either by playing on the same team or being from a similar region so like with a lot of our other guys entering with that familiarity, we are hoping that will help him settle into his comfort zone relatively quickly."
