The Nottingham Panthers have added to their offensive options in 2021/22 with the signing of forward Robbie Baillargeon.
The 27-year-old is no stranger to the Elite League, having played under Panthers Head Coach Tim Wallace for the MK Lightning in 2018/19. Since scoring 28 goals and assisting on 19 others in 50 league appearances back then, the forward has not iced professionally however heads to Nottingham with a point to prove.
Panthers have been on the ice this week in Nottingham ahead of their Diamond Jubilee Cup fixtures against Cardiff this weekend.
"To get a player like Robbie, at this point in the summer, is very good," explained Director of Hockey Gui Doucet. "He's a player we've been talking to for two years and it didn't work out for different reasons, but to get a guy like him now is a perfect signing.
"Robbie is a young guy with a lot of good years left in him. He comes to us after a few years of not playing, but with something to prove. He fits exactly into the role we wanted to fill."
