Blaze and Flames in quick rematch

Coventry and Guildford meet for the second time in less than 24 hours on Sunday at the Skydome.
The teams contested a Premier Sports Challenge Cup in Surrey on Saturday night in which the Flames ran out 2-0 winners, extending their unbeaten record against the Blaze to three straight games this season and to an overall score of 14-5.
Coventry return to home ice knowing that they've only failed to pick up at least a point in two of five home fixtures this season. Guildford, meanwhile, have only one win on the road in their travels so far in 2021/22.
In terms of Premier Sports Challenge Cup Group B, the Blaze can no longer finish as group winners. A win tonight would increase their chances of being able to finish in the top two. Any victory for the hosts would be their first against the Flames since February 2020.
