Tonight: Flyers head to Sheffield

Sheffield host Fife this Wednesday night hoping to add to their lead at the top of the Premier Sports Elite League table.

The Steelers' lead at the top is two points, but they have played a game more than Nottingham directly behind them - Aaron Fox's team do, however, boast the league's best points percentage at 71% through their opening seven games.

Fife have just the one league victory over Manchester on their record in five games, but were victorious at home to Dundee in the cup on Sunday. After a difficult start, Todd Dutiaume's team gradually hauled themselves back into qualifying for the Challenge Cup Quarter-Finals and are playing .500 hockey over their last six games.

The two teams met on 24 October in what was a tight game through the first two periods before a major penalty on Jonas Emmerdahl changed the course of the third and the Steelers ran out 5-2 winners.
