In-form Flyers head to second-placed Flames

A month ago, it would have seemed unlikely that the Fife Flyers would be one of the Premier Sports Elite League's form teams, but now in mid-November Todd Dutiaume's side head to Guildford with three wins from their last four and unbeaten in two.

The Flyers' turnaround has largely been down to home form, where they're on a four-game winning run. They head on the long road trip to Guildford looking for their first away league win of the season, although they have picked up a victory in Dundee in the cup.

Guildford were beaten on Saturday by Cardiff for the fourth time this season in the third game which was decided in overtime or penalty shots. The defeat means that the Flames have only lost two of their last 10 in regulation across all competitions. In the league, they go into this fixture knowing that they can either close the gap on Sheffield in first, or at the very least extend their advantage in second at this stage of the season.

Fife have won their last two fixtures in Guildford, having last been defeated at the Spectrum in September 2019.
