Glasgow Clan's jammed fixture list as they play catch up on the rest of the Premier Sports Elite League sees them playing their third game of the week, travelling south to Coventry for the first time this season.
This should have been the second meeting between the teams at the Skydome, but last month's clash was postponed owing to a plant failure in the arena. The sides met last weekend in Braehead where the Blaze left with a 3-2 shootout win.
Following that game, Coventry were shut out 2-0 on their own ice by Cardiff live on Premier Sports. The Blaze are gradually getting players back in their lineup after suspensions and injures and are still in a decent position overall - fifth in the league with 11 points form 10 games, and the sixth-best points percentage. If Danny Stewart's team are to keep pace with Belfast in fourth, and the top three, winning home games will be crucial - they're 3&2 so far. Luke Ferrara leads the Blaze for points with 11, but sits #17 overall in the league, and just inside the top ten on five goals.
Glasgow moved off the foot of the table with their midweek home win against Fife. After Friday's defeat to Nottingham, Malcolm Cameron's team can't go up any more places tonight but are still at 50% of points collected through seven games. In-form Mathieu Roy has scored in six of his team's games so far and was voted as Player of November by fans across the league - he has 12 points to date.
