Devils need win against home-strong Storm

Saturday night in Altrincham pits Storm Head Coach Ryan Finnerty up against Jarrod Skalde, from whom he played as a player in North America.

Manchester snapped their four-game losing streak last weekend with a home win against high-flying Guildford, their fourth home win in five and seventh from their last 10 games at the Shelter. Six home league wins is a league-lead that Manchester share with Guildford.

Skalde takes his Devils team into Manchester off the back of three straight losses, the first time Cardiff have hit such a run this season. While Wednesday was a cup defeat to Dundee, dropped points at the weekend effectively cost the Devils six points in the title race that they need to start making up pretty quickly. 

These sides met in preseason and also a live Premier Sports game earlier in the season which the Devils won 3-0 in Wales.
