The Dundee Stars recorded their second home win of the week and fourth in a row with a commanding three-goal win over Scottish rivals Glasgow Clan.

Dundee had the better of the opening period and were deservedly ahead after the first 20 minutes on Tayside. The hosts took the lead 6:41 into things when Charlie Combs was allowed to waltz in off the boards to the slot and shoot past Shane Starrett. Glasgow levelled at 10:07 when Colton Yellow Horn poked home the rebound off Match Jones' shot, but 15 seconds later Gabriel Desjardins picked up a rebound in close to put Dundee straight back ahead. With 1:44 left in the period, Drydn Dow picked out Sebastia Bengtsson in the neutral zone and he skated into wrist home and give the Stars a 3-1 lead.

6:33 into period two the Stars went three up when Sills' wrist shot from the circle snuck through Starrett's five-hole despite the best efforts of the Clan to clear it off the line. Glasgow responded in under 60 seconds, however, with a nice bar-down finish from Cody Sol to cut the deficit back to 4-2.

Timi Lahtinen's deflection off Desjardins' shot at 53:52 put the Stars three goals ahead and effectively ended the game as a contest. A late penalty on Nolan Laporte allowed the Stars to ride out the final 96 seconds for a comfortable win.
