Adam Keefe's Giants continued their strong home form with a two-goal win against Fife in front of 4,217 fans in Belfast.
The opening period was a one-goal affair with the Giants going ahead just after the midway point of the period. Teddy bears rained down on the SSE Arena's ice at 10:28 after an excellent backhand pass from JJ Piccinich set up Scott Coway for the goal to put the home side ahead.
Piccinich put the home side two ahead 3:42 into period three, but the Giants were pegged back inside the final ten minutes. Fife got themselves into the game when Jackson Whistle thought he'd covered the puck, but it stayed loose and fell kindly for Scott Jamieson to put in from close range with just shy of eight minutes left.
Griffin Reinhart calmed Belfast nerves with the Giants' third at 55:54 to ensure home side would take both of the points and continue their pressure on the sides leading the league.
