The Manchester Storm earned their first away win with an excellent performance in Kirkcaldy, sending the Fife Flyers to the bottom of the Premier Sports Elite League in the process.

Machester were two up after the opening period and never looked back. Austin Albrecht was quickest to a loose puck in front of Shane Owen's net to put them ahead at 8:12, while Zach Sullivan's blueline shot found its way through, possibly with the help of a tip, with 58 seconds left in the period.

Ben Wilson's bullet made it 3-0 just past the halfway mark of the game as the Storm led by three going into the final period. Colton Waltz did get Fife on the board 2:51 into the third, but Dallas Ehrhardt put the Storm back three up barely two minutes later. Tayler Thompson rounded off the win at 46:51, coming in unmarked at the back post from Albrecht's pass.

Storm ensured they stay in sixth with the win and collected three points this weekend, while the Flyers suffered back-to-back defeats for the second weekend in a row.
