Guildford Flames Defenceman Alex Yuill has been placed in Covid Protocol and will not participate in team activities during his complete 10 day isolation period. All other Flames players have tested negative on consecutive days and upcoming match plans at Coventry Saturday and home to Fife Sunday remain scheduled as planned.
"It's a tough situation for Alex, but the good news is that he is symptom free and feeling just fine, other than disappointed in not being able to join his teammates for action over the coming days," said Head Coach Paul Dixon. "As we have seen with more significant issues around the league, this is a reminder that we are not through the public health crisis yet and we all have to be mindful of the situation as we try and live day to day and as we try to conduct a season that was fragile to start and remains so every day.
"Hopefully, our biggest worry for the rest of this week remains our visit to Coventry Blaze on Saturday and a return home to take on Fife Flyers on Sunday night."
