Manchester host Glasgow for the second time this season with both teams having the chance to climb up the table.
Due to other teams not playing, the Storm and Clan could both close the gap on teams above them with a victory, and Glasgow especially could climb to a season-high of seventh.
The Clan won the only other meeting between the teams this season 5-1 in a game where they were outshot 52-22. Malcolm Cameron's team won their last game to make it .500 through their past four matches. Manchester continue to have one of the league's strongest home records with 13 points collected out of a possible 18. They were beaten by Cardiff in overtime last time out but picked up a point in the process.
In what could become a battle of goaltending, Shane Starrett sits fourth overal on 92.29% of shots saves in 11 games. Storm's Jason Bacashihua is on 90.09%.
