Manchester left it late but avenged their 5-1 home defeat to Glasgow in November with a 4-2 win on Saturday night.
The opening period ended all square with the fans at the Storm Shelter treated to four goals in the first 20 minutes. Nolan LaPorte opened the scoring for the Clan 7:45 in, and that was a lead his side kept until 17:27 when Dallas Ehrhardt shot through a screen from the point after good puck retention by the home side. Mathieu Roy was on hand to slot home the rebound from Colton Yellow Horn's effort at 18:39, but things were tied up again 40 seconds later when Ehrhardt was quickest to the loose puck after Shane Starrett turned away Tyson Fawset's shot.
After a goalless middle session, the third looked to be heading without a goal before the Storm stole the game late on. With 1:47 to go Scott Simmonds found Ben Wilson out in front whose shot was saved, but Tyson Fawcett came in at the back post to one-time the rebound past Starrett.
Tayler Thompson found the empty net with 31 seconds left on the clock to ensure the hosts took the two points.
