Belfast play their first game since exiting COVID-19 protocol with the visit of Glasgow for what is always an eagerly awaited Boxing Day fixture.
The Giants haven't iced since 12 December, and have added Jonathan Boxill as cover for the festive period with injuries in the team. Despite missing a number of games, the Giants are still the best-placed team to put pressure on leaders Sheffield, trailing the Steelers by nine points but with three games in hand.
Glasgow head into Belfast on a run of three straight losses although they did pick up a point in defeat in Sheffield. Malcolm Cameron's team have been arguably a better road team than on their own ice so far with seven points collected from eight trips compared to five from six at home.
