Stars return to action in Belfast

Dundee play their first game since leaving COVID-19 protocol away in Belfast this evening, taking on a Giants team whose only home loss so far this season came against the Stars.
Belfast go into this clash in excellent form. Adam Keefe's side have won their last six straight in the league since that Dundee defeat, with only a road loss to Coventry in the cup sandwiched in between.
On points percentage, the Giants have the second-best record in the league at 71%, and with three games in hand on leaders Sheffield. The midweek win in Guildford only helped their cause, and with 26 and 24 points respectively, Scott Conway and JJ Piccinich are among the league's top five point scorers.
Dundee were on a fine run before an enforced break for the team. They've won six of their last seven games in all competitions, including a league and cup double over Cardiff, and have clawed themselves into the playoff places. Having played a couple of games more than the teams around them, however, the Stars have slightly less room for maneuver heading into 2022.
