Flames looking to end negative streak

The Guildford Flames play at home for the first time in 2022 hoping to end a negative streak that's seen them lose their last four games.
A New Year's Day defeat extended that run which has seen the Flames not pick up a win since 5 December against the Devils. Guildford were, however, out of action in COVID-19 protocol during this time.
While Kevin Lindskoug has stopped over 93% of the shots he's faced in the past two games, the Flames have only managed one goal at the other end in those 120 minutes. Head Coach Paul Dixon was, however, very happy with his team's effort in both of their games since exiting protocol.
Cardiff quietly extended their winning run to three games yesterday in a game where Mac Carruth picked up his league-leading fourth shutout of the season. The Devils have won five of their last six and could cut the gap on leaders Sheffield to just two points tonight, albeit by virtue of having played three games more.
Faceoff at the Spectrum is at 6pm.
