As we move into the final three months of the season, we've been looking into some of the numbers through the first five months of action so far.
Players
- There are 13 players who are at least a point-per-game so far this season
- 7 of the 9 most productive players are from either Belfast or Cardiff
- Of the Top 15 point scorers in the league, 11 are in their debut EIHL season
- Despite being the fourth-most productive player with 35 points, Adam Brady is currently a -5 (the only player among the nine most-productive players with a negative +/-)
- Seven players have scored all their league goals on the powerplay, of which six are defensemen - Dyson Stevenson is the only forward
- Two players have scored all their league goals shorthanded - Alexander Ranger and Keaton Ellerby both with one each
- Among all players who have scored more than 10 goals (11+), only five have put up more goals than assists (there are 14 11-plus-goal players in total)
Goalies
- The three starting goalies with the top save percentages have a positive record win-less record. None of the remaining 7 do so
- Despite only playing 13 games and having the worst save percentage among starting goalies, Matt Ginn still holds the third-highest number of shutouts (3)
- Shane Owen has the lowest win-loss record in the league, yet has faced the most shots (1091) while maintaining a pretty solid save percentage at 91.11%
- Alongside Owen, Kevin Lindskoug is the only other goalie who has faced more than 1000 shots
- No goalie has yet to concede more than 100 goals
Teams
- The third-most scoring team has scored 20 goals more than the fourth-most scoring team (Sheffield - 106; Manchester - 86)
- The three most-scoring teams are the only teams in the league with positive GF vs. GA ratios
- Glasgow have both the least shots for and second-most shots against in the league (per game average), yet do not have the league's worst average goals for vs. average goals against ratio
- Glasgow and Fife are the only teams yet to win in either overtime or a shootout
- Belfast are the only yet to lose in either overtime or a shootout
- Despite being last overall, Fife have the least amount of penalty minutes per game
- No team averages under two or more than four goals per game
Penalty box
- Scott Jamieson has played the most games without yet taking a penalty (26 games)
- The most-penaliaed player, Kyle Haas, has taken at least one penalty in more than two-thirds of his games (15/22)
