The Flyers have lost 12 straight in all competitions, and are without a home win since beating the Flames eight games ago on 27 November. They added to their roster this week with the signing of forward Chris Lawrence.

On the other side of the ice, Guildford head up to Kirkcaldy with three wins for their last five games. After suffering two straight defeats, the Flames ground out an overtime win in Glasgow last weekend  making a three-point week for Paul Dixon's side that kept them in fifth with 26 points from 29 games. The Flames sit just four points above the playoff trapdoor, but only three of going into the top four.

The sides have a win each at the Fife Ice Arena this season, with the Flames having won their only meeting in Guildford 6-1 back in November.
