Glasgow Clan head to Cardiff for the first time this season as second in the standings host fifth.
The Devils came away a victory on each of their two trips to Glasgow so far this season but it's roles reversed tonight at Ice Arena Wales.
Cardiff came out the last weekend's trip to Belfast with two points out of four, slipping back to four points off the top of the table having played three games more. Saturday's shootout win kept Belfast two points behind, but the Devils are now in the precarious position of being overtaken by the Giants should they slip up.
Glasgow were winners in Nottingham on Saturday night thanks to new signing Braylon Shymr hitting the overtime winner. Clan returned home to face Sheffield on Sunday and were beaten 6-3 in a game that was close for 45 minutes.
The Devils have one of the best home records in the league with 24 points out of a possible 32 on their own ice. Clan meanwhile are a .500 team on the road so far in 14 away games.
