Giants eyeing second as road trips moves to Dundee

Belfast Giants go into part two of their four-game road trip knowing they could end the night second in the Premier Sports Elite League.
The Giants have been third for much of the season so far, but with Cardiff not playing Belfast would move up a place with a win - the teams would sit on equal points, but the tie-break of playing fewer games would lift them ahead. A win would also put the Giants two points off top spot, having played two games more than Sheffield.
In Dundee, the Giants face a team that is on a mixed run of form. While the Stars have lost their past four games straight, they've picked up a point in two of them. On their own ice, Omar Pacha's team has picked up eight out of 10 points and hasn't lost in regulation in almost a month.
The teams split the Challenge Cup games with a win each in Dundee, but the Stars have not won at home against the Giants in league play since December 2018.
