Glasgow and Coventry met at the Skydome with both sides looking to pull ahead in seventh - and possibly go higher if other results work out in their favour.
The Blaze and Clan are tied on 26 points from 27 and 28 games respectively heading into the back half of the season.
Clan head home after surrendering a two-goal lead inside the final seven minutes in Cardiff midweek, a defeat which sent them to their fifth defeat in six games. From those 12 possible points on offer, Malcolm Cameron's team have picked up four.
Blaze were thrashed midweek by Belfast after having picked up a weekend double against Manchester. Head Coach Danny Stewart will hope to have more players available for the trip north after having over a handful of first-team players out on Wednesday through COVID-19 protocol, injury, and sickness.
Coventry won 3-2 in a shootout in the sides' only meeting in Glasgow this season.
