Manchester Storm moved up to sixth in the Premier Sports Elite League thanks to a two-goal home win against Nottingham Panthers in front of 1615 fans on Friday night.
The game was unusual in that all six goals were scored at the same end. Dallas Ehrhardt and Adam Brady struck just over four minutes apart to give Storm a two-goal lead after 20 minutes, but they were pegged back through Ollie Betteridge and then Massimo Carozza tying things up 27 seconds before the end of period two. Brady grabbed his second of the night with 9:27 left to play, with Jarden Vanwormer adding the insurance goal at 56:17.
The win ended a two-game losing streak for the Storm, while with defeat the Panthers are winless in three and have five straight road losses.
