Stars aiming for Giants double

Dundee Stars host Belfast Giants for the second time in 24 hours hoping to make it back-to-back wins over the title chasers.

The Stars let a two-goal lead slip on Friday night but recovered to win the game in overtime in dramatic style - a huge double save by Adam Morrison at one end setting up a breakaway winner at the other! It was the Stars' first home league win over the Giants since 2018 - that 2018/19 season was the only time they managed two home league wins over Belfast in the EIHL.

While the Giants picked up a point to make it three from four on this week's road trip, it did mean Adam Keefe's side fell back in the title race. Belfast are three points behind Sheffield having played two games more - and while they have five games left to play against the Steelers, they really can't afford to fall much further behind.

Belfast have gone three straight road games where they've picked up at least a point.
