Tonight: Stars take on Devils

Wednesday night action in Dundee sees the Stars hosting the Cardiff Devils from 19:30 this evening.
Dundee have become somewhat of Cardiff's bogey team in recent seasons. The Devils have already dropped a road cup game and home league fixture against Omar Pacha's side, who also helped deny the Devils a league title in the final run-in to the 2018/19 season.
A huge first period burst of goals helped Cardiff overturn that 4-2 cup defeat in the second leg, and they now head to a rink where they were also 6-4 winners back in November. The Devils went down 4-1 in Nottingham on Sunday to end a three-game winning run.
Dundee picked up an excellent overtime win over Belfast on Friday night before being thrashed by the Giants 7-0 24 hours later. They've not played since, but since on a record of one win in their last six games.
Having lost at the weekend, Cardiff slipped to third overall and are four points off the top of the table having played four games more. Dundee are locked in a four-way battle for a playoff spot, just a point behind Glasgow but only three from being up in sixth.
