The Giants know that if they make it through, they'll host the final after coming through the Group Stage as top seeds. Fans in Belfast have good reasons to be confident - their team has won all four games against the Panthers this year by a combined score of 14-6. A buzzer-beating equaliser followed by shootout winner on Sunday kept their 100% record against the Panthers this season going.
For Nottingham, Mark Matheson takes his team to Belfast looking for their first win in Northern Ireland since September 2018. The Panthers had been on a three-game winning streak until giving up that late tying goal and then going down in Sunday's shootout.
While the Giants have been strong in the league, they've also excelled in the cup. Belfast dropped only two points in the Group Stage, while their top line of Scott Conway, David Goodwin and JJ Piccinich have picked up 54 points combined in 10 games. Goalie Tyler Beskorowany has missed the past few games due to injury - Jackson Whistle will start if the Giants #1 is not cleared to play.
