Sheffield Steelers and Cardiff Devils meet for the second time in four days, but this time there's a place in the 2022 Premier Sports Challenge Cup Final up for grabs!

The two sides contested an excellent game on Sunday. Goalless through 40 minutes, they shared four goals in the third period before the Devils eventually won in a shootout. 

That game means the Devils have split their five games this season 1-2-1-1, with both also having picked up at least a win in each other's building. At the Utilita Arena in Sheffield, the Devils have the 2-1 edge in games, but two of the three have gone past 60 minutes.

Mac Carruth stopped 44 shots on Sunday and Jarrod Skalde will need him to backstop them again tonight - the 29-year-old American has stopped 93.31% of the 1076 shots he's faced in 33 games this season. 

For the Steelers, there's a decision facing Head Coach Aaron Fox: who to start in net? Barry Brust (90.80%, 15 wins in 20 games) played both games last weekend with a 1-1 record, while Rok Stojanovič (92.48%, 21 wins in 27 games) started the midweek loss in Glasgow. They were also without tp scorer Marc-Olivier Vallerand last weekend.
