Tonight: Added pressure in Panthers-Steelers derby

Nottingham Panthers host rivals Sheffield Steelers on Saturday night in a game that has taken on extra significance over the last week.

The Steelers' lead at the top of the table has been cut to just two points with Aaron Fox's team having lost to Cardiff last Sunday. They were then eliminated from the Challenge Cup by the Devils midweek, being shut out on their own ice 5-0. Sheffield have lost two of their last three league games, and three of four in all competitions.

Panthers were also knocked out of the cup on Wednesday night, losing by a goal in Belfast. While they are realistically out of the title race, they could have a major impact on it if they're able to condemn their long-stanging rivals to their first three-game losing streak of the season.

Sheffield have won all three league meetings between the teams this season.
