Tonight: Giants hoping to keep up pressure at the top

Belfast Giants head to Coventry knowing they could end the night joint top of the Premier Sports Elite League, but also with little margin for error in the title race.

Having made it through to the cup final midweek, the Giants find themselves just two points behind leaders Sheffield having played a game more. Adam Keefe's men have won five straight games and are undefeated in regulation since late January. 

Coventry are involved in a five-way battle for four playoff places. While they have at least two games in hand on the other teams fighting it out for those spots, and would be fifth on points percentage alone, the Blaze had lost two straight before winning in Fife. They're .500 over their last 10 games.

The Giants have won both league fixtures at the Skydome this season, but were beaten in the cup Quarter-Final.
