Guildford Flames got their second win of the season in Dundee to create a bit of breathing room in fifth place in the Premier Sports Elite League.
Guildford got themselves two ahead after 20 minutes with a pair of goals in the second half of the opening period. Alex Yuill blasted past a screened Adam Morrisson with 11:20 played to make it 1-0 at 11:20, while Jamal Watson did similar at 15:39 to beat Morrison from the point and double the Flames' lead.
Guildford had the lone goal of the middle period which put them three ahead - Chris Gerrie tapping home at the bock post as he and Brett Ferguson broke on the rush.
The Flames moved four ahead with an element of fortune when Robert Lachowicz's pass in front bounced off the back of Morrison and into the net, effectively killing off the game with 11:26 to go.
John Dunbar ended the game's scoring 8:02 from the final buzzer for what was the Flames' second road win in three games.
