Fife's home defeat to Dundee on Sunday saw them fall nine points adrift of the playoff places with only 18 games to play. If they're to have any hope of making a run at the post-season, then Todd Dutiaume's side will have to start winning very quickly.

Sheffield's four-point weekend was the perfect answer to two straight defeats to Cardiff in league and cup. They maintained their two-point advantage at the top of the table and go into a crucial week of games ahead of then facing second-placed Belfast away, twice, next week.

New signing Nico Feldner is likely to be in the lineup with defenseman Daine Todd confirmed as out for the foreseeable future.
