Having lost two straight game to Cardiff a fortnight ago, the Steelers hit back with an excellent four-point weekend last time out to stay top of the pile. Their midweek defeat in Fife means they've lost three of their last five for the first time this season, and after Friday's result in Belfast the Giants have gone level on points with them for the first time. New signings Nico Feldner and Antonin Boruta are expected to play tonight - Daine Todd was placed on Injured Reserve midweek, and another player has since been added to the list.

Sheffield face Belfast twice on the road next weekend in games that could ultimately decide the league title.

Dundee find themselves four points clear in the playoff places as they head into their final 19 games of the season, with three games in hand on Manchester chasing them from below. The Stars' league position and form have sometimes been deceptive this season, largely due to their poor start. If you consider the last 25 games, they have collected the fourth-most points among all teams in the league. They've also recorded wins over all of the top three teams at home - translating that into road form, where they have only nine points from 16 games, is the next challenge.

Sheffield have won both home games against Dundee this season, although recent history shows the Stars have often been good for one road victory against the Steelers per season.
