Tonight: Giants and Flames set to go again

Belfast Giants and Guildford Flames meet in Part 2 of their three-game weekend series at the SSE Arena tonight.

The Giants were comfortable 6-2 winners on Friday evening in a game that Flames' Head Coach Paul Dixon described as "pretty horrible" from his team. 

That win extended the Giants' positive streak to eight games straight, while Guildford are on a two-game slide.

In the previous two Elite League seasons, the Flames have not left a double-header weekend in Belfast empty-handed, picking up at least a point if not better. The Giants meanwhile went joint top of the league with yesterday's win and will now need to keep matching Sheffield ahead of their crucial two-game homestand with the Steelers next weekend.

The Giants have picked up a league-leading 44 points out of the last 50 on offer.
