Today: Devils and Panthers head home looking for victories in early games

Both Cardiff Devils and Nottingham Panthers head back to home comforts on Sunday afternoon, but both know they need to find wins to avoid zero-point weeks.
The Devils were shut out in Coventry on Saturday night and fell further behind in the title race - now seven points adrift of Belfast having played two games more. A win for Cardiff however, or a loss for Manchester, will confirm the Devils' place in the post-season. Opponents Glasgow are very much looking up after a comfortable derby win over Fife brought them up to four points behind fourth with four games in hand on Nottingham. Clan are now very much in the hunt for a top four finish.

In Nottingham, the Panthers head back into the Motorpoint Arena having lost two games this week already. After last Sunday's road win in Guildford, Mark Matheson's team have been beaten in Coventry and Manchester - the latter where they led three times before collapsing in the final 15 minutes. Storm's win last night ended their losing run and was also much-needed to remain only three points behind Dundee who occupy the last playoff spot.
