Both the Blaze and Clan can overtake fourth-placed Nottingham if they win all of their games in hand, although tonight will change the maths somewhat for one of them.

Coventry picked up five points out of six last week with home wins over the Panthers and Cardiff before conceding a late equaliser in Fife, to whom they eventually lost in OT. The Blaze had been .500 over their last eight games before picking up the bonus point in Kirkcaldy, but have finally been able to ice a full bench of 19 in recent matches.

Clan had a derby win over the Flyers on Saturday night before suffering a narrow loss in Cardiff on Sunday. That defeat ended a three-game winning stretch for Malcolm Cameron's team, but they are one of the more in-form teams in the league - over the last 20 games, Clan have picked up 22 points, the fourth-highest overall. Coventry, for the record, have 21 over the same stretch.

Goalies CJ Motte and Shane Starrett have similar records to date, too. While Starrett edges wins with 16 compared to Motte's 14, it's the Blaze man with the slightly higher save percentage: 91.65% vs. 91.42%.
